Abstract 001

Measurement and Prediction of Hydrate Dissociation Pressure of Oil-Gas Systems

Avlonitis, D. A., Danesh, A., and Todd, A. C.
Proceedings of Hydrate Seminar, Cranfield (1988).
The formation of hydrates in oil and gas transfer lines and its potentially dangerous blocking effect are known. The paper discusses a theoretical model and an experimental apparatus to determine the hydrate dissociation pressure of multi-component hydrocarbon systems.
