SFC funded places for students resident in Scotland

A limited number of fully-funded places for applicants resident in Scotland are available on our Marine Renewable Energy / Renewable Energy Development and Reservoir Evaluation and Management / Petroleum Geoscience courses.

The Institute of Petroleum Engineering offers postgraduate teaching uniquely tailored to the oil and gas industry. We have been developing and delivering courses for 35 years. All of our 50 academic staff are oil and gas specialists.  Many of our staff are former oil and gas company employees who bring their experience direct into the classroom.

Our Masters programmes include the full range of subsurface Engineering and Geoscience so you will be able to choose the course that most suits your preferred starting point for a career in the oil and gas industry, or you may decide that your Masters degree is a stepping stone to PhD study other commercial applications of subsurface engineering.
